Tamellalt is a Moroccan lumbar pillow handwoven by Berber artisans from thick, soft natural wool pile. On the front, clusters of large and small rust dots sit in opposite corners of an undyed ivory ground. Measuring 14 × 24 in (36 × 61 cm), it is an easy accent for a sofa, bed or reading chair and pairs naturally with our Mrirt and Beni Ourain rugs. Because every pillow is made by hand, small variations in color, pile and pattern are part of its character. To care for it, shake it out gently and spot clean with a damp cloth, or use a professional wool cleaner for a deeper clean.

Pillow Details

Handwoven from natural Moroccan wool by Berber artisans, this pillow has the same thick, soft pile as our rugs. It is sold as a cover only, so you can add your own insert. For a full, plump look, choose an insert about 2 in larger than the cover in each direction (for example 16 × 26 in for a 14 × 24 in cover).
    Natural Variation

    Each pillow is handwoven to order, so small variations in size, pattern, color and texture are normal and part of its authentic character. Because every piece is made by hand from natural wool, no two pillows are exactly the same. Slight irregularities in lines, pile and finishing are not defects; they are signs of real handmade craftsmanship.
    Made to Order

    Your pillow is woven especially for you after your order is placed, not taken from a warehouse. Weaving and finishing take up to 4 weeks, then your pillow is checked, packed and shipped with tracking.
    Care Instructions

    Remove the insert before cleaning. Shake the cover out or vacuum it gently on a low setting without a rotating brush. For small spills, blot immediately with a clean dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, soaking or machine washing. For a deeper clean, we recommend a professional wool cleaner.

    Each pillow is made to order and takes up to 4 weeks to weave and finish. Once ready, it is carefully checked, packed and shipped with tracking, and delivery usually takes 7–10 days.
